Yogurt with Roasted Spiced Pears
Spiced pears are a hearty addition to creamy yogurt. For the best flavor, use whole milk yogurt - we're big fans of Grace Harbor Farms plain yogurt.
Makes 4 servings
4 cups plain yogurt
3 red pears
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 c walnut pieces
Make roasted spiced pears:
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Core and slice pears. Toss with a drizzle of olive oil as well as the cinnamon and ginger. Bake for 20 minutes or until softened.
- Divide yogurt into individual serving bowls.
- Top yogurt bowls with baked pear slices and walnut pieces.
