Grilled New York Steak with Portabello Mushrooms and Asparagus
If you're going to eat low carb, you might as well treat yourself! Grilled steak with a side of portabello mushrooms and asparagus makes an indulgent dinner that's perfect for summer.
Grilled portabello mushrooms Grilled asparagus Sparkling water with lime*
Makes 4 servings
1-1/2 lbs NY Steak
1 tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
1 lb Portabello mushrooms
1 bunch asparagus
Olive oil, salt and pepper
- Heat grill to 400 degrees.
- While grill heats, trim bottoms from asparagus and slice portabello mushrooms into 1/2 inch thick slices. Lightly coat asparagus and mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill steak for about 5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached.
- Add mushrooms and asparagus to grill at the same time as steak, grilling until softened and lightly charred.
